How many watts of UVC in the pond?
It depends on the size of the pond, the ventilation of the filter system and the number of fish. How many watts my UVC lamp should have depends on various factors. In general you can expect 3-5 watts per 1000 liters, but this can vary depending on the size of the pond, the aeration of the filter system and the number of fish. There are ponds where 1.5 watts is enough, but there are also ponds where 7 watts may be the right amount.

Recommendations for UVC devices in relation to pond size: 18 and 24 watts are recommended for ponds up to 5000 liters. 24, 30 and 36 watts are available for ponds up to 15,000 liters.
